A Revisionsproduct is the item offered for sale. A product can be a service or an item. It can be physical or in virtual or cyber form. Every product is made at a cost and each is sold at a price.

A product type is a doctype which allows to add more information about the product on our webiste.

To add a product type in items, we first need to create a new product type entry.

To access product type List:

Go to > Home > Selling > Product Type List

1. Steps to create a product type

1. Lets create a new product type,

For eg. Here we have created a product type with name get grader.

2. Then, as shown in the below image, we will add the appropriate field name in the product type, which will help in providing additional information about the product, such as length, size,width and so on.
3. After creating a product type entry, we must assign that entry to the item master.
4. After Saving the item list we can take a look into specifications tab which will be autopopulated with product type specifications which we have created in product type entry list.
5. We may add field values (text, numeric, ....) in specifications.
6. Product specification will be displayed on wesbite down the item under specification tab.
