Matching Items
It helps a user to see related products in one page. Matching items are presented in groups as a series of stems or prompts that must be matched by the products to one of a group of possible matching options.
Types of Matching Items
- Equivalent
- Alternate
- Mandatory
- Suggested
Lets take a look into this different types-
1. Equivalent
This feature is used to add items that have the same appearance, functionality, and so on.
We can pick equivalent in type and add the item code in item code 1 under which we want to add equivalents item, then if we want 5 products to be presented as equivalent under this item, we will add the item code in that row.
2. Alternate
The term alternate refers to the presence of more than one option or opportunity.
If we wish to put ten other items under this, we will add their item codes in below fields.
Similarly we can choose-
3. Mandatory
In this we can add the mandatory items related to the particular item.
Eg. If we want mobile phone chargers and earphones to be automatically added to the cart with mobile phone, we can enter their item code in this necessary field.
4. Suggested
This feature allows you to add different items being suggested for a customer.
Eg. If we wish to suggest phone covers for our item, which is mobile phones, we may enter their item code in a specific field.
